A dramatic new Hyundai television advertising campaign that premiered last weekend to support the launch of its Hyundai i40 touring model uses the stunning landscape of Western Australia to showcase the car's unique design.
Paul Howell of industry publication Campaign observed that while last year's Hyundai i45 launch focused on the car's function, this year the Hyundai i40 is being singled out for its design.
The concept of the ad, which sees the car create an elaborate pattern of circles at dry Lake Rebecca in regional WA, is in line with Hyundai's renewed focus on design and function.
"The new Make an Impression campaign showcases the Hyundai i40's beautiful and functional design and marks Hyundai's emergence as a premium brand," according to Oliver Mann, marketing director for the Hyundai Motor Company Australia.
According to the manufacturer, the Hyundai i40's suspension system has been extensively tuned with Australian conditions in mind, while all Hyundai i40 Tourer models also feature amplitude selective dampers.
The Hyundai i40 Tourer also boasts an electric park break with auto hold function, as well as a hill-start assist control, which includes an anti-rollback feature.
Exterior colours are available in a range of metallic, solid and mica finishes and include Titanium Silver, Creamy White, Blue Passion, Stone Grey, Total Black and Blue Spirit, among many others.
